In the Netherlands, Dr. Jeffrey J. Kolstad has joined Avantium as Chief Scientist to strengthen Avantium’s efforts in developing a next generation of bioplastics on the basis of its YXY technology.
Kolstad was previously Chief Scientist at NatureWorks, where he he was one of the founding team members for developing and commercializing polylactic-acid.
